イランルリスタン青銅 馬銜部品 山羊装飾付

古代イラン西部のルリスタン地方で製作された青銅製の馬銜部品です。両端には山羊をかたどった装飾が施され、当時の信仰において「力」や「守護」を象徴する意匠とされています。
本来は馬の口に装着する「馬銜（ハミ）」の一部であり、王族や戦士の墓に副葬品として納められていたと考えられています。表面には長い年月を経た自然な緑青（ろくしょう）が生じ、古代青銅器特有の風格を湛えています。

This bronze fitting originates from ancient Luristan in western Iran and dates to approximately the 10th century BCE. The terminals are cast in the form of stylized goats, symbolic of strength and protection in the region’s early religious and cultural beliefs.
Originally part of a horse bit, such pieces were commonly buried as grave goods with nobles or warriors, reflecting their significance in both function and status. The surface bears a natural patina of verdigris, indicative of its age and archaeological authenticity.
The center is adorned with an impressed kara-kusa (arabesque) motif̶stylized vines and leaves̶ traditionally symbolizing vitality, prosperity, and longevity. The dish’s restrained decoration and gently rounded form convey the serene beauty characteristic of early Goryeo ceramics. Such vessels were likely used by the aristocracy for rituals or formal gatherings, and today they are appreciated as classic works in the canon of Korean ceramic artistry.
